Throug these courses, students gain a basic understanding of the methods of science. Math courses stimulate straight-forward thinking and work with logic and reason. Math, algebra, geometry, and advanced math are offered to SHS students. Dan Hodge served as intern teacher during the second semester.

Auto Mechanics, Co-Stagecraft, Audio-Visual Specialized Courses Provide Vocational Experience Today's world calls for trained personnel in areas other than academic. Specialized courses such as home economics, driver education, auto mechanics, industrial arts, mechanical drawing, agriculture, and industrial co-operative training prepare students for life in the world of trade and business. Through the library students in all areas of study can supplement their knowledge. Sophomores make use of newspaper and magazine facilities in the library. 20
