Inhcu-Qckooly CouMJCll CoWfoiates club Beginning its second year as a school organization, the Intra-School Council continues its service to all school clubs. The council acts as a sounding-board for problems of school organizations. Meeting monthly, the Intra-School Council composed of all club presidents and vice-presidents, coordinates and synchronizes all club projects and activities. The Council is in charge of displaying the American flags in front of the school on all important occasions. Also, this year the council raised a treasury for maintenance of the flags and as a loan fund for clubs with financial problems. The officers of this year's Intra-School Council are Barbara Morrow, Jim Hayes, Terry Smith, Martha lindley, and Bob Mathews. Here they are holding a meeting following the Awards Assembly to discuss the organization of next year's Council. 57 58 Crosses Senttw- C ws W Pv ukidb, JojOs Buck CMMtfoAj, Qua T tfoji Pt£Sktac6, Te wy Qt tfk JOHNNY ADAMS—Letterman's Club, All-Conference, All-State, Key Club, Student Council, Driver's Club. Each year's dedicated staff works hard to achieve the goal of making this year's book the best ever with the help and guidance of advisor Mrs. Geraldine DuBois. In the early part of the year, the staff attended an annual seminar at Central State College in Edmond to brush up on techniques and learn new methods of publications. Co-editors Ellen Jeffries and Earlene Young plan division pages for the annual. John Hodges and Beverly Blake carefully stamp and number-each junior's picture. Jane, Martha Lindley, and Beverly Maulding look over the 1964 critique on the Sapulpan. 136 Jane McCracken and Bob Mathews check pictures for the senior section of the annual. Book BoOA Staff members glance over high school and college annuals at the Yearbook Seminar in Edmond. To help pay for the publishing costs of the Sapulpan, the staff sponsored the Yearbook King and Queen contest which was climaxed by the crowning of the winners during the yearbook assembly. Also, each staff member jumped at the chance to sell ads to local businessmen to finance the book. This year's Sapulpan made several strides forward in the way of new ideas, as can be seen by the pictures, ads, and the unique art work. Bob and Brenda Vaughn compare annual covers before the final voting. Decisions on theme, cover, and type setting are voted on by the entire staff with the recom mendations of the student body.
