SENIOR DVI GR -- THE IGB MRS. LYNN MARRS, English teacher and advisor to the Journalism staff, says: The Seniors of today are the parents, teachers, engineers, and leaders of tomor- row. They are the catalysts of tomorrow's society. It is my hope as their senior class advisor that they strive to make this world MR. IULIAN SCI-IERER, Chemistry teacher, says: The 1969 senior class has frequently distinguished itself by the organization of activities out of the ordinary, spectacular and well done. The advisors of this class have not usually faced the problem of motivating them, the problem more often has been to be not too surprised at the fine quality of the things the group thinks up. As we wish the seniors of 1969 Godspeed , it is with the knowing that their places will not easily be filled, their contributions to Santiago will be lasting. says: MRS . CATI-IY a little more humanitarian, a little more peace loving, and a little more loving to- ward all of mankind. GUSTKEY, English teacher, Knowing and working with the class of '69, both as a teacher and as an advisor, has been and is a pleasure --one which I do and always will treasure. The kids are great--self-sufficient, organized, and imaginative. I feel that the really outstand- ing accomplishment of this class was the senior assembly which definitely had some- thing to say to every senior. The seniors wrote, planned, and presented this assem- bly themselves, and it was fantastic! Of course, so are the seniors--fantastic, that is! 53
