When I was asked to write something about Santiago for the yearbook I GOT A PROBLEM! I can't describe in words what all the experiences I have had here as an exchange student has meant to me. There are so many things you have here that I'm not used to. Those are things like football games, assemblies, pepsters and drill team. I just love it and I will sure miss this a whole lot when I return back to Sweden. Home again however, I'm going to try to improve the Swedish school a little. I know one thing for sure though: IT WILL NEVER BECOME AS GREAT AS SANTIAGO! Iwould like to thank all of you, both teachers and pupils for the great friendli- ness you have shown during the past year. I will always remember you and Santiago from MY yearbook. The year with the greatest experiences in my life. Mia l-lilling lqorvxhu. You can't imagine how happy I am that I had the luck to go to Santiago for one year. This was only my first year at this school, but I think you made it the greatest in my whole life, you who helped me to get a good start and make lots of friends. Santiago is really a great school and I wish the school in Germany I go to would be the same. I'll miss this school so much when I go back and I am sure I'll never forget any of you. All I can hope is that I get to come back some day and see all of you. Almut Keimling Owns! Kwai i 4

I really enjoyed my trip to japan this summer. I had everything I ever wished for--beautiful home, two sisters and a brother, lenient parents, a maid and great friends. I lived in a two story home, of which four rooms were japanese and the rest was completely west- ernized . My day consisted of visiting historical spots, meeting new friends, shop- ping downtown in Tokyo, and just taking it easy. The maid took care of everything, even preparing my bath. I spent a week at my father's ' summer home on Ise-Shima fa pearl island J, and a week in Karu- izawa, a mountain resort. I experienced two typhoons and they were scary! The most fun I had was adding to my japanese vocab- ulary. In return, I taught them English. japan is a beautiful country and the people there are truly real . Well, SAYONARA QGood-byejl Vidas, Sheryl Nakahara,
