The Co-Ed Sponsored by the Santiago Girls' League, the Co-Ed was one ofthe most successful semi- formal dances this year. This is an annual event, the only turn-about dance of the year. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of the Co-Ed King, who was elected bypopular vote of all the girls on campus. About one week prior to the dance, an assembly was held at which each candidate, spon- sored by a Girls' League of- ficer presented a skit to acquaint the girls with her candidate. This year the theme of the dance was Midnight Blue. The decorations carried out this theme, with blue and white streamers and silver stars adorningthe ceiling, and shaded blue cupids on the walls. The band, the Esquires, played against a backdrop of blue and whiteg and an ornate clock show- ing the midnight hour framed the couples as photographs were taken. '22 l E 5 1 5 E E E
