The famous philosopher Socrates was known as a wrestling champion. Not to be confused with professional ras- slin, amateur wrestling is a developmental sport. Its increasing inclusion in thephysical education program and on an intramural level has promoted its popularity. Boys have discovered that Wrestling has much to offer them no matter what their size, since Weight classes assure them that they will be contending against opponents of approxi- mately the same size. From Wrestling these boys can develop physical fitness and strength, an ability to protect themselves, and self- confidence that will help prepare them to become useful citizens of tomorrow. jack Beller 4 m
