Advisor Miss Ioan Miles Speec One of our greatest gifts is that of speech. Without the power to talk our ears would also be limited to the sounds they could receive. Speaking is not merely the ability to say words and utter sounds, it is a means of communi- cationg a means of becoming familiar with those around us. The way in which We use the power of speech is important in many aspects. Those students who go out for speech learn techniques enabling them to use language to benefit them, and say what they mean in the best possible manner. This quality is not acquired, it is developed with much time and work. To speak and say some- thing vvorth hearing is the goal these people strive for.
