6 I9 9 Youth For Christ provides a Christian influence on the high school campus. This past year Y. F. C. had several ac- tivities among which were a Christmas party, car washes, and the selling of coffeeand do-nuts at night school. Of- ficers ofthe club are:President, Paul Harveyg Vice President, Paul Perry and Ruth Haydeng Treasurer, Ardith DuMars and Gary Iungkeit. Miss Katherine Snider is advisor of the club. Membership is too large to print here. F. T. . Future Teachers of America is designed to acquaint its members with the field of teaching. Members must have a B average or better. They participate in the teacher assistant program in which students are given the opportunity to aid a teacher during a class period. Advising the club is Mr. Henry Massey. The officers are: President, Jane Lambertg Vice President, Ginger Dunning, Secretary, Teresa Nagurskig Treasurer, Marcia Rossg Historian, Brenda Bowles. Members are: B. Bowles, T. Butler, A. Future Homemakers of America is a group of girls whose goal and decided purpose is to learn to become wives and mothers. This club gives the necessary training and knowledge for fulfilling this goal. F. T. A. sponsors three important activities of the yearp the orphanage party at Christmas, the Easter fashionshow, and the Senior breakfast. The advisor of the club is Mrs. Rosemary Smith. Spankh lt is the purpose of the Spanish Club to explore the cultures of Latin American countries and Spain, and expand the members' knowledge of the Spanish language. Advised by Mrs. Faye Folkins the Spanish Club sees the beautiful country of Spain and its related lands, thus acquiring a better under- standing of the people of the world.
