Business Exploring business careers and opportunity is the purpose of Santiago's Business Club. Guest speakers have enhanced the club with information about various business careers. Career Day held on March 15th was sponsored by the club and enabled the entire student body to see the various occupations open to them and the advantages and disadvantages they hold. Advisor of the Business Club is Mrs. Katherine White. Officers are: President, Ken Gilbertg Vice-President, Kathy Rogersg Secretary, Kathleen l-lutsong Historian, Sylvia Viviano. Members are: C. N O 0 0 Raising money to bring foreign exchange students to Santiago is the purpose of the American Field Service. Among this club's activities were the sale of coffee at night school and the spring dance called the ING, Officers are: President, Mark Burry: Vice President, Mike Lewisg Secretary, Judy Francisg Treasurer, Carol Weishapl. 6 I9 9 Youth For Christ provides a Christian influence on the high school campus. This past year Y. F. C. had several ac- tivities among which were a Christmas party, car washes, and the selling of coffeeand do-nuts at night school. Of- ficers ofthe club are:President, Paul Harveyg Vice President, Paul Perry and Ruth Haydeng Treasurer, Ardith DuMars and Gary Iungkeit. Miss Katherine Snider is advisor of the club. Membership is too large to print here. F. T. . Future Teachers of America is designed to acquaint its members with the field of teaching. Members must have a B average or better. They participate in the teacher assistant program in which students are given the opportunity to aid a teacher during a class period. Advising the club is Mr. Henry Massey. The officers are: President, Jane Lambertg Vice President, Ginger Dunning, Secretary, Teresa Nagurskig Treasurer, Marcia Rossg Historian, Brenda Bowles. Members are: B. Bowles, T. Butler, A. DuMars, E. DuMars, G. Dunning, P. Harvey, G. Jungkeit, I. Lambert, K. Lambert, N. Leuci, T. Nagurski,'M. Ross, P. Schwarz, B. Sharp, M. Sherer, P. Sokolowsl-ri. F. H. A. Future Homemakers of America is a group of girls whose goal and decided purpose is to learn to become wives and mothers. This club gives the necessary training and knowledge for fulfilling this goal. F. T. A. sponsors three important activities of the yearp the orphanage party at Christmas, the Easter fashionshow, and the Senior breakfast. The advisor of the club is Mrs. Rosemary Smith. Of- ficers are: President, Dixie Cummingsg Vice President, Candy Mesag Secretary, Kathy Waer, Treasurer, Kay Kozaing Reporter, Lois Foxg Historian, Janet Tooman, Parliamentarian, Karen Scotty Song Leader, Loretta Simmons.
