F G .A.A. Medical Santiago High School will produce many young people who will go on to careers in the medical profession. The girls meet after school and participate in various sports. Activities of the organization during the year included the student faculty game, a picnic, and the eight grade track and field meet. Lettermen's Club The Lettermen's Club is a school service club which participates and sponsors various activities during the year. Among these are raising funds for awards, sponsor- ing the donkey basketball games, holding the Lettermen's Sweetheart Dance, and as- sisting in community gatherings. Members of the Lettermen's Club are boys who have won varsity letters in inter- scholastic competition. Officers are: President, Steve McEueng Vice President, Jack Hauerg Secretary, Claude LaBarreg Treasurer, Dave Nishioka. Its activities consist of preparing goal posts for home games, establishing and cheering section at games, and sponsoring various ac- tivities during the year. Members consist of any students interested in promoting school spirit. Officers are: President, Donna VanZantg Vice A President, JoAnn Millerg Secretary, Elaine Davisg Treasurer, Susan Cowden. if ,rr A Lettergirls Santiago Lertergirls are dedicated to the purpose of performing acts of service for G. A. A., Lettermen and other school groups and activities. They act as sports officials, ushers, and guides at school functions. The Lettergirls' Club consists of only six members. Because of this they have no officers and are regulated bya glov- erning board. Advisor of the clu is Miss Catherine Snider. Members are: T. Arevalo, S. Beck, S, Franklin, D. Seyler, P. Smit, M. Threatt. ath Explorers The Math Explorers Club is set up for the benefit of the people who like to further their knowledge of mathematics. The members explore non-curricular areas, de- velop initiative in mathematics, and are encouraged to participate in mathematical contests as repre- sentarives of Santiago. Officers of the club are: President, Francis Blyleveng Vice President, Steve Williamsg Secretary - Treasurer, Nick Leuci. Members are: B. Adans, F. Blyleven, H. Brosbe, L., Cam- mack, T. Dunn, S. Durian, J. Garvey, N. Leuci, D. Rogers, S. Williams. The advisor is Mr. Dennis Titzkowski.
