For years science-fiction writers have been predicting the outcome of the 80's. H G Wells stands today as a rare kind of scien- tific genius He had incredible insights into the coming marvels of space and communications. He forecast landings on the moon, the atomic age, the benefits of technology, sexual freedoms, and femi- nine equalitles George Orwell, author of the book 134, was a but more negative concerning future predictions.
