Senior Mike Gurtler Spotlight I think the thing that I will remember about Santa Teresa is the many in- teresting people. Everyone had someting different to offer, says Mike Gurlter. It seems that Mike has met so many interesting people because of his involvement in school activities. He is one of the all important tight ends on ST's football team. He has dedicated three years to football, two of which he has played varsity. Mike has been skiing for many years and has been an active member in the ski club. He preferred going on trips with the club because, “by having a whole group of people going together, with the sole purpose of having fun — it became very exciting. Mike stated that he was sorry to see the club go in his senior year. Although he is quite busy with football, ski Club and his part-time job. Mike manages to do well scholastically. He plans to attend college next fall. He is undecided about his major, but believes that education is very impor- tant. A high school diploma is not enough, every person should take it upon himself to learn more, 'broad-mindncss' is a valuable quality to have.” When not in school, he takes to the outdoors for such things as camping and hiking. His favorite teacher was Mrs. Hoglund. Not only did I learn a great deal for her. but one felt that you were her friend. 60 Seniors Cherise Smith Una Pictura Milia Verba Est.
