Senior Andrea Macadacg is the captain of the outstanding girls' swim team. The team has placed first in the Mount Hamilton Athletic league for nine years. As a freshman Andrea was voted most outstanding athlete. This year the relay teams, in which she was a member, won the award of All American. She has been involved in swimming for 12 years. She is also a member of the Amateur Athletic Union; she has been voted most valuable in the age group of 15-18. During the summer Andrea is a lifeguard and a swim instruc- tor. Another swim related event that she is involved herself in is SCUBA div- ing. I don't get the chance to dive very often. I believe it to be one of the most exciting things that I do, SCUBA diving is an exciting adventure!!! Andrea has been in the fellowship club and the ski club for all of her high school years. My senior year has been my favorite because during the other years of school, I did not get to feel the camaraderie that I have felt this year. Andrea believes that Tom Lebherz has been the driving force behind to do so well in swimming and in her studies. She has maintained a 3.0 and has applied to San Diego State and Long Beach State. I hope other seniors have felt the sense of belonging that I have.
