Girls’ Varsity Cross Country With an overall record of nine wins and one loss, the woman's cross country team has every right to have a great feeling of ac- complishment. This dedicated team was the only team from the Mt. Hamilton league to go to C.C.S. in which they placed twelfth. Varsity captain, Sheri Opp, F S captain Karin Dowell, and other team members Chris Calvello and Rhonda Fuller represented Santa Teresa in all league. Not only was Sheri Opp team captain, she was awarded most valuable team member. She also set a new record on the Alum Rock Course. Most improved racer on the team was Page Borgcl, and Rhonda Fujler was voted most inspirational. Coach Richard Wade commented that since the team members are young, this dedicated team has been one of the best. I believe with hard work 3nd more dedication next season, we should do even better at C.C.S. Top Row: Eiene Valdiva, Ann Marie Rosch, Karen Dowell.Julie Komroski, Kristen Dowell. Drew Taylor.
