The Homecoming Dance Seniors will remember this year’s Homecoming Dance as the best ever. Euphoria from the afternoon football victory over Oak Grove lured a tremendous number of spirited students to the gym Friday night to enjoy the music provided by D.J.’s from radio station K.M.E.L. and to revel in a feeling of togetherness. The presentation of the 1982 Homecoming Court highlighted the festivities. Student Body President Jeff Beck escorted last year’s queen, Lori Beam, into the gym, and together they awarded the titles of King and Queen to Jeff Reed and Renee Blue for representing the ideals of our school. Also recognized in the voting for various outstanding qualities were princesses Loni Gomez, Cheryl Lopez, Lisa Wendt and Trina Williams and princes Tom Schultz, Bruce Vance, Gary Turnipseed, and Mark Skrbina.
