This experience is obtained at the State and Regional conventions Where students gather as a legislative body to present and discuss bills and resolutions on topics of current interest, at the weekly chapter meetings, and from the stimulating courses offered to students at the Iunior Statesrnen Summer School. A Iunior Statesmen Chapter was organized at Santa Rosa High School three years ago: since then it has grown both in membership and in experience and has become an active part of the state-wide organization. In addition to its weekly meetings, the Santa Rosa Chapter has been active in raising funds to send members to the Summer School has presented programs for several local service clubs and has been interviewed on a local radio program Members have presented legislation at both Regional and State conventions and partici pated for the first time in the annual Debate Contest of the Golden Gate Region Fal1Otf1cers President Ieanette Chalfant Vice President Lianne Leonard Secretary Iulianne Grace Treasurer Bob Antonsen Parliamentarran Bob Swinth Spring Officers President Lianne Leonard Vice President Fran Wendel Sec retary Sharon Sevenants Treasurer Iirn Robertson Parlramentarian Richard Quistgard ROW! left to right D Evans C Reilly S Farrar V Gabrrelson G Carpenter B Nilsen M Griffith S Cook lversen C Anderson G McCarter P Isaacs P Mxnlzler C Darroch D Barlcas A Gray B Mann A.
