Mr. T. H. Battelle Mr. Frederick F. Duey Principal Vice-Principal-in-Charge Fall Semester Spring Semester Administrators The administration of Santa Rosa High School has undergone several changes in the past year. The most important of these was the resignation of Mr. T. H. Battelle in December to take a position with the State Board of Education. Mr. Battelle came to Santa Rosa in 1932 as head of the Commercial Department, which post he held until assuming the principalship nine years later. Since 1941 Mr. Battelle guided the activities of the high school wisely and well. Students and faculty alike are sorry that he is gone, but they wish him all success in his new position. After Mr. Battelle's resignation Mr. Frederick F. Duey, vice-principal, took over leader- ship of the school as Vice-Principal-in-Charge. Santa Rosa High was fortunate in having a man of Mr. Duey's caliber on hand to assume this important post. Mr. Wilfred W. Rankin mfgved from his post as Chairman of the Social Science Department to assist Mr. Duey in the o ce. f 3 pewcomer on the staff last fall was Mrs. Grace Rothert who took the position of Dean 0 If S.
