'V ag g JUDGE HILLIARD COMSTOCK judge Hilliard Comstock elevated to the Superior Bench anuary 29 1929 served as a member of the Board of Education of the Santa Rosa High School District for the past eight and one half years being president of that body for the same length of time. During this period some of the most serious problems-the most trying situations ever presented to this body-have had to be met and wisely handled. The satisfactory solution of these has been in no small degree due to the clear thinking of this young judge still under forty years of age. While all regret the loss of his wise counsel in the Board meet- ings all his friends and well wishers congratulate him on this en- larged field of usefulness to which his new responsibilities call him. 3 J L M d l f f ft fwfr 7 B

DR. REUBEN MARTIN BONAR 1869-1928 Dt. Reuben Martin Bonar was a member of the Board of Educa- tion of the Santa Rosa High School District for eight years. Having the good of the district and the school children thereof always in mind, he gave of his time and talents unstintingly, and to the time of his passing, was interested in all things pertaining to school matters.
