George Feliz Seniors In the year 1922, a class of some 200 students entered on a new and puzzling stretch of their school life. They found no home awaiting them for the “old school” had been reduced by fire to a mass of charred ruins. In that year of adjustment this freshman class, tho’ handicapped from the beginning, cheerfully did its bit toward helping along all school activities. s sophomores, we see the class a trifle wiser from their hard year of experience.. Many of their number had distinguished themselves early in the game by their high scholarship or their prowess on the athletic field.. But it was in their junior year that the classs of ‘26 really woke up and demonstrated in every way that they were destined to instil enthusiasm and pep into all activities. Seniors! Hard work, good times, responsibilities, disappointments few and success—all this we associate with our year of leadership. Many new customs were introduced to the Student Body by the seniors, haneg-doodle day and bonfire rally being among them. Our life as high school students will soon be a thing of the past. We have accomplished much in the four years allotted to us, and we sincerely hope that we leave behind us such achievements as will not be entirely forgotten. Doris Hamlin.
