A. who have earned 750 points in Athletics 3 F3 and scholarship. Chenille letters and sport sweaters are the rewards given to these girls before they can enter the club. There are titteen members, eight ot which were initiated this year. Several ol the social functions ot the club this year were: a mid-term initiation and a most successful progressive dinner. The girls were also host- esses for the Spring Play day, on May 7, held on the Santa Paula l-ligh School grounds. The Sportswoman Club feel they have had a successful year. si Ji- XX TOT'-Miss Reid. ueutxn Lowsoxte MISS REED ' fidmfif GIRLS, ATHLETIC ASSQCIATION The Girls' Athletic Association this year has enioyed one ot the most active and eventtul seasons ot its comparative- ly short existence. The beginning ot the vear tound the G. A. A. and the Girls' League cooperating on a combined Punch honoring the new treshmen girls. The next gala event was the Christmas Pageant featuring English Country Dancing. The l-loclcey Brealc- tast tor mid-year presentation ot awards was held in February at the end ot the hoclcey season. Many girls received chenille monograms, and the freshmen received emblems. On May 7, Santa Paula plaved hostess to tour hundred girls at a large playdav where baseball, vollev ball, baslcetball, and tennis were the events ot the day. Closing the activities ot the year the third annual banquet was held on May I8, where again the much coveted henille monograms were presented to those who had earned them During this eventtul and exciting year many Myiew triendships were tormed and manv old ones were more tirmly cemented, thus the real purpose ot the G. A. A., to create a spirit ot friendship: to toster a spir of loyalty was accom- plished

A. sporboi t e season. xlnterl class games were played after school, and, though the compe- tition was keen, the Senior class showed their superior strength by winning the championship.
