Ferne Fosterlinq. 2nd Row: Eleanor LeFevre, MGY Duane ART CLUB The Art Club was organized in the tall ot I937 under the supervision of William Tidmarsh, and is composed of students whose tuture interests will be concerned with art. ln the Fall, the club sponsored an art exhibit in the Santa Paula Public Library. During the year they did the majority ot the art worln tor the Christmas Pageant, Girls' Playday, Senior Prom, and supervised the advertising campaigns tor school activities. The Art Club also assisted in the decorations tor the Junior Prom. A special art exhibit at Exposition Parlu, Los Angeles, was attended by the Art Club in May. The officers are: President, Marion Tunneyt Vice-President. Billie Murray: Secretary and Treasurer Geneva Stewart: Advisor, Miss French. JUNIOR l-ll-Y The Junior Hii' Club was organized in the Fall ot I937 by the Senior l-li-Y. Their meeting-, w.-re held every other Monday night and Council meetings on alternate Mondays. The Clubt as a group, attended ChurCh Oni Sunday a month. The Junior l-lifY's activities during the year were: attendance at County ontluelc dinners in Santa Paula, Fillmore, Ventura. Carpinteria, and Qxnard: a swimming party at Wheeler's Hot Sorings, and a skating party in Ventura. The club raised tunds by working on the ball field during Christmas vacation, and con tributions to the flood reliet drive were provided tor.
