The members were girls interested in camping, hiking, and nature, and under the able advisorship ot Miss Smith the group enjoyed three over-night trips, two hikes, a picnic, and a bicycle trip. The otticers the first semester were: President, Janice Loyd: Vice- President, Virginia t-lublerg Secretary, Edna Dunbar. The second semester officers were: President, Betty .lean Moore: Vice-Presidnt. Margie Ackerman, Secretary, Geneva Stewart. SUPPER CLUB The Supper Club was organized in the Fall ot I937 by the remaining members ot the Thrift Club when it was found that the thrift work could not be continued. The members met each month in room IO tor a potluck dinner. The programs tor each meeting were either in the tornn ot a discussion or some suitable entertainment. The officers are: President, Milton Easton: Secretary, Barbara Harrison, OD Row, left to riqht: Lonsdale, Bamesburqer, Murray, Harrison. Greinqer.S1uart. Several parties were given and mcmbcrs spcnt the Easter vacation at the Reddiclc Beach cabin on the Rincon. Later in thc year the girls had a tca tor a your ot Senior girls. 7-20 CLUB The 7-20 Club was originally organized during the Fall ot l936. lt was established to promote marc social gatherings in the Sophomore class. At that time it met under the name ot the Sophomore Social Club and when the members became Juniors the title was changed to the 7-20 Club. This club successfully held several dances during the year and showed their social spirit by attending all school functions. Er ' 5' 59 A 3 ma . ,bg , DRAMATICS cLuB ywlyaid The Dramatics Club had a very successful year under the guidance ot Miss Cool: and President Betty Pick- tord. Early in the year the club had a picnic in Mill Park in order to get the members acquainted. They also went to Los Angeles to attend a radio PfO3ram, and later in the year a gala Christmas party was held much to the enloyment of all the members. The success ot the Christmas pageant was due a great deal to the Dramatics Club. All ot the members took active parts in the pageant and the main characters were played by them. Malre- up and direction were supervised by the club. The officers are: President, Betty Piclctordg Vice-Presidentt, Jean l.eFevere: Secretary, Jean Moore? Treasurer' Bernice Gill: Advisor, Miss Coolc. INTERNATIONAL CLUB The lntcriintionnl Cluti is an international organization Composed of members all over the world who cor- respond vvilli t-.ith other in tliu interest ot Xiiforld lfricndship. The club has had no activities this year outside ol their correspondence, whith, however, has been very active. .
