The events included a picnic held at Stecliel Parlc, followed by various entertainments, and the sponsoring of a dance which was combined with the President's Ball for lnfantile Paralysis. held at the Ebell Clubhouse on January 29. The Freshmen have tried something new in the order ot class government this year. A representative from each Freshman English class was elected to a Freshman Council which planned the social activities, and, in general, handled the attairs ot the class. Two parties, one held in the Fall, the other in the Spring, were the main social events ot the year. Miss Gilbert, the class advisor, was very lcind in helping the new students, and they appre- ciated her ettorts.
