The drill team, directed by Michael Ann Foley and led by the captains performed in pep ral- lies and football halftimes. Their shows varied from a take-off of Looney Tunes to a sophisti- cated competition show. The competition show, greatly appreciated by the homecoming audi- ence won many honors for the drill team. Among these awards they achieved a sweepstakes tro- phy at Chaffey and a second place award at the West Covina Halftime tournament. The captains were truly outstanding per- formers, dancing to a variety of music. Not only did they choreograph their own routines, but they also arranged the drill team half-times and pep rally perform- ances.
