Eileen Barnard, Secretary Judy Kamibayashi, Treasurer Brad Omick, Vice President ASB Officers This year, Samohi was privileged to have a very good Cabinet which worked very efficiently and harmoniousIy , according to advisor Porter Leach. Under Pre- sident Craig Childress, Vice President Brad Omick, Speaker of the House Cliff Rooke, Secretary Eileen Barnard, and Treasurer Judy Kamibayashi, the Cabinet saw an innovative and productive year. President Craig kept an eye on all the varied branches of government by popping in on meetings unexpectedly ibut somehow we always knew he'd be thereip at the same time he was on the look- out for ideas from the student body. Brad stepped up several times to the chair, and was responsible for disorganizing the committees - an incredible job in itself! Eileen kept the minutes, helped count votes, and kept Craig occupied. Judy served as Cabinet's financial analyst, maintaining a sharp watch over the 31,000 in the ASB fund. Cliff presided over the House with a stern hand land boyish grini. These officers welcomed the next year's officer-elects after Convention '75, held after school hours in May. The new constitution was put into effect this year, making for several changes in Cabinet procedure. The Vice President of the Sophomore Class joined in Monday morning Cabinet meetings for the first time in Samohi history, in accordance with the emphasis placed on Sophomore representation. The Rep-at- Large system was revamped and given a greater role in government. All these changes were geared toward accomplishing one major goal - that of increased communication between students and their government. v wV. .V . W- . .
