The Cliss Davis, this year's vocal groups, led by Mr. Don Bremer and Mrs. Janice Mitchell, had a very successful year. A prime time CBS-TV appearance highlighted the year for the Madrigals as they were selected to represent our school district on a Christmas music program. The day of the taping proved to be very hectic since they also had to squeeze in two other Yule performances. Viking Chorale proved in the October assembly to be a favorite of the student body with their performance of the Godspell medly complete with shouting soloists. Several members of both V.C. and Madrigals were also selected to sing in the SCVA Honor and CMEA All-State Choirs. Some of the most beautiful sounds of the year were provided by this year's Girls' Glee. Their unique blend of voices helped make our concerts more enjoyable.
