Samo's Mascots High point of most of the pep rallies and half-time activities were the antics of this year's Victor and Vicky Viking, alias Bobby Herron and Kim Steensen, respectively. Along with suits made out of 17 rabbit skins, devouring microphones, and questionable yells, they made for a little levity usually not inherent in Samohi. j.V. Yell Leaders The eight I.V. Yell Leaders of 1973-1974 pepped up the sometimes laggard and other times non-existent crowds that followed the ever unpopular non-varsity squads from school to school. From Missy's shades, to Ingrid's 5'9 frame, they kept the show on the road both on the field and at the noontime pep rallies of which they were an important part. While not as visible as the over-powering Varsity Yellers, the I.V.'s always did come up with good routines. JV YELL LEADERS: tTop, L.
