Bowling Club BFE Under the direction of Mrs. Langen- beck the Future Nurses Club has had an active year. At meetings the mem- bers learned basic nursing procedures and discussed the importance of nurs- ing. Club members also attended the annual Southern Cali- fornia Science Fair in Los Angeles. Mem- bership in the club is earned by receiv- ing a B or better in one science semes- ter. Junior Dragons RADIO CLUB The main event held annually for the radio club is a nation-wide Field Day Contest. This year the chapter met on Mt. Figueroa and, oper- ating on emergency power, communicated Radio JR. Future Farmers FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA Open to high school boys interested in farming is the F.F.A., a national organiza- tion of youths studying voc- ational agriculture. Learn- ing to do, doing to learn, learning to live, living to serve is the club motto. Their yearly activity is spon- soring a dance with queen competition to contribute to the Crippled Children Fund. with as many other sta- itons as possible within a twenty-four hour per- iod. Tri 8: Hi-Y JR. DRAGONS Meeting weekly, the Jr. Dragons, who re- cently changed t h e i r n a m e to Chariots , brought together a group of boys primarily interested in cars. The year's project was a dragster based on a Model B 4-cylinder en- gine. Advising was Mr. Wray.
