Latin Club I 4 . . I lu Ill! L, Q 3 Z Latin Club - The Latin Club was eligible to students taking the Latin language. First year Latin students were called Plebians, and students of second year Latin were called Patricians. However, students who already have completed one of two years of Latin were eligible. The Club held two main ann-ual events, the Roman Banquet and the Latin Club Convention, to provide a lighter side to the subiect. The advisor was Mrs. Youtz. ' Xxx, e N Q panisb Club l HWY Spanish Club - The Spanish Club was for the purpose of encouraging the study of Spanish culture through an understanding of the language. It was open to second year Spanish students. The chief affair of the year was the Pinata Party, at which the members were given an insight to the Spanish culture. Mr. Malovic was the advisor. -II ,., French Club French Club - The French Club, available to French students, is one of the younger organizations of SMUHS, Like the other language 23 clubs, it was formed as an incentive for the students to strive for better Uhdersfdhdlncl of the lnnmmrm P
