Perform Necessary Service to School ln addition to the regular teaching per- sonnel, there are other staff members who assist in the carrying on of the school pro- gram. Some of these are certificated persons and some are not, but all of them perform a necessary service to our school. The cur- riculum of our school must be modified to changing conditions. Since health is a very important part in our education, our health co-ordinator and nurse keeps a close check on our health. The keeping of our records accurately and completely is a function of our Registrars office. The district and student body books, purchasing, and finan- cial records are kept by the Business Office staff, while the main office and the school secretary greet the public and act as the information center. While our minds are fed by books in the library, the cafeteria satisfies our physical self. The gardeners and custodians keep our beautiful plant in tip- top condition. In I Above. Caf nd Many more activities have re- turned to our program this last year, with the end of the War and gas rationing. A number of groups and organizations journeyed to other cities, where they toured newspaper plants, movie studios, science centers, and other schools. These field trips are believed by most educators to be as important as class room work. lt is difficult for us to comprehend ae- tual situations When our only source of information are our text books, so We feel that our out of school ac- tivities are a necessary part of life which help us to build Wholesome personalities. In the years to come, a greater part of classroom work will be actual experience and this will all be possible when our country has re- turned completely to normal condi- tions.
