Their uidance Mold Character Miss Pope A wise counselor and an under- standing friend is our Miss lfthel Pope, dean of girls. As chairman of the counseling and student per- sonnel division, matters concerning attendance irregularities and class room guidance are given her special attention. X5C'e owe a great deal to her foresight in establishing two very active student organizations. the Girls' League and the vveeklv paper, The Breeze. Never too busy to give aid to some deserving stu- dent, Miss Pope has helped many to find themselves in high school and their place in the future. Mr. Wilson The responsibility for student transportation, the smooth opera- tion of our Board of Control, and other student affairs falls on the shoulders of Mr. Wlilliam Wil- son, our assistant district superin- tendent, vice principal. and dean of boys. Many fine programs and dances were presented this year with his assistance. In his capacity as Dean of Boys some of us have been sent to him for discipline but more have gone to him to get ad- vice on some student problem. Re- turning servicemen and other alum- ni visiting the school seek out Prof,'i as we fondly call him, to pass the time of day and to learn of mutual friends and classmates.
