flllv. 'gwuxful Jiwlt, Mr. Hardy was born in Des Moines, iowa. He received his BA and MA at Drake University in Iowa where he was elected to Phi Sigma Iota, the National Honorary Language Society. Mr. Hardy has also attended summer college sessions in Saltillo, Mexico and has done graduate study at Stanford University. Mr, Hardy has been Teaching at Santa Fe since September of 1957 and is head of the Language Department. An accomplished pianist, Mr. Hardy enioys all phases of music. He has given up many hours of his time trying to introduce Santa Fe Students to classical music.
