Her majesty, Judy Martin, was chosen to grace the throne of Homecoming Queen this year. lHer beauty benefits the wearing of a crown, and her activities on campus make her even more worthy. She has been a very ac- tive member of many clubs, and has held one class office, and two years as an A.S.B. Officer, Left to Right: Joann Pickett, Judy Martin. Yvonne Edwards, ft as Our Homecoming Queen is chosen not only for her beauty, but for her poise, per- sonality ancl activities on cam- pus. All of the candidates must be seniors. The Varsity Club chooses 20 canclitlates, and from these are chosen 10 finalists. The senior class then casts their vote. The three girls with the highest number of votes become our Homecoming Queen and two princesses. The remaining seven girls b e c o m e the Queen's court. Judy Martin is crowned Homecoming Queen for 1959-60, by Sharon Green.
