Santa Fe's varsity football team provided plenty of Thrilling moments for players and spectators this year. Their record of three wins, four losses, and two ties does not reveal the excitement of the many close games and spec- tacular plays. The varsity in its fourth year is proving a real threat in the San Gabriel Valley League. Wd Individual players who were honored include Mario Mendez, who was chosen to play on the all-San Gabriel League first team and was chosen player of the year. On the second team were Jerry Pearlman, Rennie Simmons, and Joe Gibbs. On the all-District football team, Pearl- man and Mendez were chosen to play. WON- LOST RECORD Santa Fe 6.. Santa Fe 6 . .
