The purpose of the Girls' Athletic Association is to promote interest in girls' athletics, develop sports- manship, emphasize social activities, and further the spirit and co-operation of the school. The Girls' Athletic Association is open to all girls regularly en- rolled at Santa Fe High School. Credit in G,A.A. is awarded on the basis of participation in after-school activities, such as volleyball, speedaway, basketball, and softball. The girls also participate in playdays with other schools. Junior Red Cross Girls' Athletic Association Our American Junior Red Cross and secondary- school aims are closely related as Red Cross pro- grams are based on developing individual and group qualities. Santa Fe High School has been especially honored to have our local club president, Bob Balding, selected to attend the tirst advisory council meeting in San Francisco, December 9 through ll.
