I We, the C1388 of 1955, have not only left a few useless articles behind, but have also left a part of our lives With the shedding of a few tears and heavy hearts we depart from Dear Old S F H S lass Prophecy Dear Diary Today I attended the reunion of the class of '55 It was wonderful seeing all my former classmates for it has been a long time since we graduated together I learn ed what everyone 1S doing and surprisingly everyone is doing something As I was waitmg for the crowd to arrive Glenn Weedin walked in He informed me that he has a thriving detective agency in Kansas City and has just solved the Binaggio Gargotta murder case In walked next a strikmg young redhead .Toyce Chrisman who told us that she has just finished the leadmg role in Broadway s hit of the season Then came another one of our talented members Nancy Meyer who has taken over the Kate Smith Hour at S5 OOO a week Soon a very frustrated but happy Cecelia Valentine rushed in She had spent the afternoon at school the superintendent had summoned her because he was having so much trouble with her little boy We told her l1ke mother like child ' Then Gerald and Sylvia Lane arrived They had a hard time making the reunion because Sylvia was running their large wheat ranch while Gerald was acting head coach at K U COf the basketball team of course While we were waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive we began talking about playing the steel guitar on the TV station H O D G E and Bob Templeton is furnishing the brams and the money for the program Shirley Johnson s son has just been re fused by the draft board for being over six feet eight inches Martha Hollis has her own dance studio and 1S Arthur Murray s highest com petitor While listening to the radio on his Way down to school Glenn heard that a brave young missionary Douglas Fiene had just been eaten by a cannib l tribe for breakfast S - I . . . . . , l . , ' . , . . . . Junior--To all the underclassmen, my ability to flirt with every girl in sight and to my brother, Gale, my jumping and basketball ability. Barbara--To Marilyn, a pair of slightly worn gym shoes and to Bernice my un- predictable American History book, - LeRae--To Jimmy Appleberry, my arguing ability and my place on the first team to Butch Closterman.
