lllllllilll Ellllllllll Choosing outstanding students and or- ganizations from the many deserving recognition falls to the Awards Commit- tee, headed by Chairman Kaaren Welo, A trophy is awarded each semester to the organization which has done the most in service to the school and com- munity. lllllllllllm HHH llllllll Elflfllllif Promoting school spirit was the aim of This year's Program and Rally Committee headed by Willette Murphy, SB vice-president. Rallies, Pom-pon par- ties and decoration of the stadium for football games were planned and executed by student members of the committee, which included the pep, yell, and song leaders, representatives from each class and representatives from the maior publications. Ellllfllllff t The SBVISC committee repre- sented SBHS in the Santa Bar- bara - Ventura - Interschool - Council. Choosing delegates, managing the annual traffic safety conference held at SBHS, and promoting the yearly council dance were the functions of this hard working committee. This committee also planned and managed the Pig- skin Prom, the annual home- coming dance, held in the rustic atmosphere of Rockwood in Mis- sion Canyon.
