Mr. Latinee Gullattee will be moving to the Los Angeles area to teach and to do post- graduate work at UCLA in the fall. A grad- uate of Santa Barbara High School, he re- ceived his B.A. at UCSB and M.A. at Howard in Washington, D.C. During his two years at Santa Barbara High School, Mr. Gullattee taught English, was assistant track coach, B basketball coach, and advisor to the 1957 Olive and Gold. Miss Carol Schmid comes from St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and UCLA. She has been at Santa Barbara High School for two years as a typing and short- Q! hand teacher and sponsor of the Future Business Leader of America. In the future her plans are to move to Lafayette, Louisi- ana, her future h.usband's hometown. Also, she hopes to continue her teaching career there., Mr. George Velliotes, who was a graduate of Santa Barbara High School, maiored in politics and education at Stanford and did post-graduate work at Harvard. For two years he taught in the history department at Santa Barbara High School and was an active sponsor of the Junior Statesmen. He is leaving at the end of the semester to work for his father, who is building a res- taurant. He will work there as assistant manager.
