SAC's Moratorium- A Day for Mourning or Protesting? Students View Viet Nam War The United States has shown itself as a great and cour- ageous people and then too, a peace-loving and non- aggressive people...We have every right to be proud of a country that allows free dissentp...a nation that has never had to build walls to keep people in. l feel that the Moratorium was a half-baked effort on the part of the pacifists to destroy American society. We are in Viet Nam to win...that is what is in order. ...the Viet Nam war is an immoral and unfair war. Speakers were not the only areas of interest to the Del Framed by protest signs, teacher Don Brown strains to communicate A'h'o photographers. with students. Hundreds attended noon protest on administration lawn. 25

Right: Cook Gym was in an everlasting uproar for 29 hours over a three day registration span. 26 Registration Many pre-planned schedules had to be revised as the ticket numbers constantly were being P ulled from the board.
