Institute Serves To help insure students -the proper equalibrium between the academic, the spiritual, and social roles in education, the Church of jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints has established Institutes of Religion. Over 100,000 dollars has been invested into the Santa Ana Institute alone. David Coombs, a graduate of Brig- ham Young University, is the Institutes advisor. Since its beginning, the Morman Church has always recognized the importance of its youth. The Institute provides students the opportunity to meet other Latter Day Saints at the college, to take classes in religion, and to engage in both social and spiritual experiences. 'mir its , YV My . A5 An Equalibrium One of the lnstitute's most successful service pro jects was the volunteer work done at Children's Hos pital each week to provide the children an opportunity to participate in recreational activities. The late Morman Prophet David O. It is for these purposes the Church of jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has established an Institute of Religion adjacent to Santa Ana College. Students participate in regional activities with other Institutes such as this Halloween dance
