AMPUS The first Santa Ana College Campus was established at the old Polytechnic High School on Walnut Street. In those days, there were twenty-tive students enrolled and they were considered an advanced department of the high school. ln l934, after having been declared in a iunior college district, the campus was moved into the old college hall group of buildings on North Main Street. Up to date we have the maiority of the buildings completed and they are now in use. The new buildings yet to be built include the large auditorium, new gymnasium, engineering, libraryand fine arts buildings, and a drama section with a small auditorium. The fate of these buildings lies largely in the hands of the individual taxpayer and voter. A bond issue which will decide whether or not our campus will be completed is due for presentation in June of '53. When and if we get our college campus completed, we will offer a greater field of subiects and opportunities for high school graduates in the county. With these changes Santa Ana College will continue to grow and serve efficiently and well the needslof her community. fr-1 3
