STUDENT GOVERNMENT Taking over the student body affairs of the year '52-'53 was no easy iob, nevertheless Bob Elsner and his executive board lost no time in initiating their executive powers. They organized committees for the drawing up of the student budget, L A A which took a considerable amount of consideration and planning. Even ' before the start of school they were busy preparing for the big Asso- ciated Student ticket sale. As the semester progressed, other problems and affairs presented themselves, such as the Homecoming Dance and football game, the Get Acquainted Dance, the penalty law for outstand- ' ing Student Tickets, many Eastern Conference conventions, the State Con- ference at Hollywood, and at the end of the year the approval of the yearbook bid. Elsner can be proud indeed to have headed and organized such an active board as this one. l t COMMISSIONERS 1 .4 A 4 l l Bob Elsner President, Associated Students Fall Term - 1952-1953 EXECUTIVE BOARD -fAL - a E George Bartell Commissioner of Publicity L A A l l l Ray Quigley Commissioner of Assemblies. l vii' ' ' ll Bob Merkert ECUTIVE BOARD-M b of the first semester Board are, left to right, VGEOYQG Bane I .
