Don't Let It Rain On Our Parade . . . or should I say colorday! But the plea's of the student body could not change the weather forecast! On the other hand, the daily downpour could not dampen the high strung spirits of the Saints! 28-Color Day

And Rain . . . Although most of the weeks' activities were rained out, we still managed to salvage the ever-popular tug-of-war! The event took place in the lunch area, where the participants would be well protected by the awning covering that area! The events competitors were the Seniors against the sophomores, and the Juniors against the Freshmen! The envelope please ... The winners were to be announced at the traditional color day assembly, held at the end of the week! Where the two finalists would compete in the final tug-of-war! The Seniors and the Juniors taking the title of the Finalists! The Juniors pulling their way to success for the second year in a row! Other assembly events were; How to conserve water, contributed by four willing Seniors! A daring attempt to help change California's drought situation! The Dance Repertory performed three fine number showing the fantistic growth of all members performing! Drill Team also showed us their spirit! Performing a number to the popular song JOSIE COMES HOME !! And a special little something by the special little people; Gerrardo Saldivar, Julie Matsushita, and Kathy Steining-er! Oh yes! And let us not forget to mention the unknown hands! Color Day Court finalist were also presented! The winners would be announced at the dance the following evening! 30-Color Day
