Spirits Were High! The Saints battled with the Foothill Knights, unfortunately the team’s efforts were thwarted, the Knights defeated the Saints with a final score of 27-13. However, this setback didn't diminish the enthusiasm of the crowd which included alumni from many years past. All in all it was a great week and game. Planned mainly by the B.O.C. and Karen Christensen, Homecoming ran with few flaws. Last year’s queen. Heather Marsh, was on hand to congratulate Anne Sandoval, the ’76 Homecoming Queen. Assisting Jim Vitelli in the crowning of the queen and her court, was last year's A.S.B. President Carl Crawford. The princesses were Bclcn Rodriquez, Pamela Ahrens, and Vivian Montcz. The Homecoming Queen and her court were very impressive and received a large round of applause. The evening ended with a dance at S.A.C. The band was Zodiac and the atmosphere was mystic too. Soon Homecoming was over, marking the end of a fun and exciting experience.

“Swallow a chicken heart and you'll marry the next man you shake hands with.” This was just one of the many antics of our fall play, “Meet Me in St. Louis.” The play, presented on November 18, 19, 20. told of a typical American household. The Smith family, living in the late 1800's survived many tragical but comical mishaps. Somehow everything from cat throwing to leg bitting occurs. Due to the consequences of the girls' acts, the family's situation looks dim, socially and financially. However, peace and prosperity finally arrive with many warm welcomes. The play ends on a light happy note while everything works out perfectly. This was Mr. Wards first presentation, he did a fine job that was greatly appreciated. Mr. Solis and the stage crew also did much to contribute to the play's success.
