COUNSELORS For the first time in Saintland history, counselors worked on a fulltime basis. Under the able supervision of Mr. Ralph Jack, guidance co ordinator, the counselors were able to devote more time to each student this year. Mrs. Asenath Bennett counseled senior and junior girls; Mrs. Nora White counseled senior and junior boys. WINTER BOARD OF CONTROL This year’s winter Board of Control leaders, Doug Andrews, president; Gary Anderson, vice president; and Sue Milligan, secretary, showed excellent leadership ability. The Board began the year by attending the leadership conference at Camp Osceola, where they gained valuable knowledge about their own offices and activities. The sale of student body cards, which was an outstanding success this year, was the Board’s first major project. Because of their cooperation and enthusiasm, Color Day will always be remembered. The activities of the day included the morning assembly with the kangaroo court, the football game, and the annual Color Day Dance. Other noted achievements sponsored by the Board were the pep assemblies, where they enacted several amusing skits.
