What a dull and uninteresting Ariel this would be if we had no pictures in it. Thanks to Mr. Peet, advisor; Ed Baum, editor; and his staff members, Alan Leonard, Tom Dodson, and Dennis Franklin, we have a much more entertaining Ariel. These boys were constantly on the job both on and off campus. Taking casual shots, pictures of our school, different gym classes, clubs, and athletic events were some of their many jobs. Also, the scheduling of senior pictures and faculty photos came under this department. The staff played a very essential and praiseworthy part in the making of our 1958 Ariel. Mr. Peer. E. Baum, A. Leonard, T. Dodion, D. Franklin. EDITOR: Ed Baum Ariel Photography

Ariel Business Sto Under the capable direction of the advisor, Mr. Grafsch, and the editor, Sharon Boling, the Ariel Business Staff had a very prosperous year. This efficient group started off the first semester by securing sponsors. Soon it was presale time, which is a very big responsibility for the staff members. At the end of the year, the Business Staff members conducted the final Ariel Distribution. All this could not have been accomplished without the wonderful co-operation of this fine group. Generator The duties of a school newspaper, as of any publication, are to inform, entertain, and publicize. The Generator of Santa Ana High School, under the able editorship of Don Andersen, and the advisorship of Mr. Ralph Jack, has done its best to carry out these duties. During the school year, the students were kept up to date on the goings on of the administration, social happenings, sport triumphs, and student achievements. In addition to informing the Saints, the Generator and its staff also entertained them. The paper faithfully notified the student body concerning what to wear, the price of tickets, and recognized traditions of the dances of the year. Any school would be proud to have as fine a school paper as we do. The whole staff deserves a lot of credit for a fine year of publication. THIRD ROW: B. Chrlitianwfo. R. Skowtky, T. M t 9 r. A.
