Poff, N. McNeil, S. Hart, Mr. Hcmmen 'S A EDITOR: Barbora Watson This year the Ariel Literary Staff has worked harder than ever before in an effort to make the 1957-58 Ariel the most outstanding yearbook we have ever had. We have this staff to thank for the sixteen additional pages in this year's Ariel. Few of os really know the routine'' work that goes into the production of a yearbook. We never see the behind-the-scene typing, alphabetizing, proofreading, and other work that goes on every day. Stories, captions, identification of pictures, and layout changes — all these are the work of the Literary Staff. Much of the credit for the success of this year's Ariel is due to the editor, Barbara Watson, and the advisor, Mr. Hemmen. Ariel 19

The Ariel Art Staff, under the guidance of their advisor, Mrs. Faye; editor, Virginia Dunn; and co-editor, Marilyn Junker-meier, planned the layout for the 1957-58 Ariel. Colorful stripes, artistic pictures or cartoons can be attributed to this staff. The beautiful design on the cover is also a product of the Art Staff. The whole Ariel Art staff has done a splendid job and deserves much praise and congratulations. EDITOR: Virginia Dunn CO-EDITOR; Marilyn Junkermaier

Ariel Business Sto Under the capable direction of the advisor, Mr. Grafsch, and the editor, Sharon Boling, the Ariel Business Staff had a very prosperous year. This efficient group started off the first semester by securing sponsors. Soon it was presale time, which is a very big responsibility for the staff members. At the end of the year, the Business Staff members conducted the final Ariel Distribution. All this could not have been accomplished without the wonderful co-operation of this fine group.
