girls' league The Girls’ League is one of the most active of our school organizations. Each girl automatically becomes a member upon registration. After the election of its officers, the cabinet and committees are chosen with the guidance of the advisers, Mrs. Mirrle Bouchey and Miss Helen Kirkland. Launching a highly successful year, the Girls’ League opened with a fashion show and tea for all sophomore girls. The dinner for new students was held several days later, followed by the football dance after the color day game. They also sponsored an assembly for the girls and a drive to help the needy at Christmas time. Starting off the second semester was the dinner for new girls. The annual Co-ed Dance followed next, and the year's activities ended with an entertaining girls' assembly. Presidents: Janet Hurd, Anne Croddy Fifth row: 1. Robbms, M. Brogan, K.
