With Mr. Edward Black, adviser, the staff has accomplished many assignments such as acquiring patrons for the Ariel, running the Ariel pre-sale, and scheduling the photography for the senior pictures, organizations, and various other extra-curricular activities. They also have secured good publishers, book binders, and printers for the cause. Finally, they have taken charge of the distributing of the finished product, the 1952 Ariel. Each student on the Business Staff should be given much credit for her cooperation and work on this year's interesting and outstanding yearbook. 20

Anna Koo and Sandy Walker, literary editors this year, and the rest of the staff have the large undertaking of reading all copy and proofs for the yearbook and of identifying pictures of the student body for the Ariel. A difficult job also done by the staff is the paste-up, which is complicated and requires time and patience on the part of each and every staff member. Each year an annual banquet is given for all Ariel staff members. The literary staff was in charge of this year's banquet, making all the arrangements for the successful evening. 19

Each year, this staff has the task of photographing the students participating in the diverse school activities such as the Saint Show, Color Day, various initiations into clubs, assemblies, plays, afterschool sports, competitive sports, and other school functions. The students who have worked on this staff have caught glimpses of many happy school memories with their camera and have gained valuable experience while working on the Ariel.
