WINTER SPRING Donn Moomaw PRESIDENTS The two powers behind the successful year of 1949 were Student Body Presidents Don Hanson and Donn Moomaw. Under their capable leadership and the guidance of advisor John Johnson, the past year has shown many outstanding features in school morale and student government. During the fall term President Don hHanson presided over the Board of Control which sponsored the best Color Day known in school history with almost every student participating in the event. Also under his direction, the Board presented the annual Football and Cross Country Track banquet, excellent assemblies, and campaigns for student betterment. The attendance at the noon film series, tne proceeds of which were for the Student Welfare Fund, surpassed all records of previous years. With such a high standard to live up to, Donn Moomaw took up the office of Student Body President at the beginning of the spring semester. Under Donn, the Board planned an outstanding Student Body Picnic, which had almost 100 per cent student participation. Also given were the Stu- dent Officers ' party. Basketball banquet.
